Shannon Towns & Bars

Having spent several holidays cruising on the River Shannon I thought it would be useful for any other travellers to have a brief, if incomplete guide to some of the drinking establishments we found. My fellow travellers and my self had already enjoyed boating holidays on the Norfolk Broads for which information on drinking establishments is widely available. Unfortunately there was very little information for the Shannon, hence this guide.
This is not meant to be an exhaustive guide, and finding bars in Ireland is certainly not the hardest of tasks. The main thing that can be said about the pubs in this list is that I've drunk Guinness in them all.
